I have a feeling I may be overthinking/over-researching something at work. !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! .

My very first internship was exactly this: measuring the wetting angle of epoxy resins on carbon fibers. A basic b&w Polaroid camera, adjustable stage, back-light. It was one long boring summer. If I can dig up a pic, i’ll post it. Good luck with goniometering!

I forgot about the fiber dip method, but I found at least one photo as evidence!

My research was really just seeing whether there was published literature on water droplet formation and flow on SS 304 surfaces, and what the effects of a given roughness was - since I’m designing a 304 enclosure that I don’t water to stand in the bottom of *at all*, even in droplets if I can avoid it. I even found what I was looking for... or at least, an Indian paper that covered enough to get the general idea. I was thrilled to learn the tech behind it, though.
